As “Bring It On” turned 22 years old earlier this week, one of the film’s stars is sharing ideas for a possible sequel to the beloved cheerleader comedy.
Released in 2000, Bring It On stars Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, Jesse Bradford and Gabrielle Union and focuses on a high school cheerleading team preparing for a national competition.

The film spawned six direct-to-video sequels, but none featured members of the original cast.
Union, who played East Compton Clover’s head cheerleader Isis, shared another sequel pitch on Twitter, noting that Isis would be old enough to have a teenage daughter. .

If Union’s idea comes to fruition, the producers of the new “Bring It On” movie should have no problem casting him. Actresses Chloe Bailey and Ryan Destiny responded that they were ready to sign on.
