Martin Brundle is back.

Over the weekend, a former racing driver and now British broadcaster had a nasty encounter with a man who thought he was NFL star Patrick Mahomes at the Miami Grand Prix.

Following behind the man in a Formula One race, Brandle struggled to get his attention, but in the end he asked what he thought of the atmosphere of the event.

“It’s crazy. I’ve never been to an F1 race. It’s great,” he said before asking Brandle about interacting with drivers before the race.

The man said, “You can see it. They are trapped. It reminds me of myself. The real focus.”

At that point, Brandle said, “It’s not Patrick, so he ignored me.

After all, the man in question was Duke University basketball player Paolo Banchero, an NBA prospect who was named the 2022 ACC Rookie of the Year.

“I thought I was talking to someone else,” the embarrassing Brandle waved to Banchero, adding, “I’m sorry.”

Brandle had previously had a nasty exchange in an F1 race trying to ask Megan Thee Stallion’s security details and some questions.

On Twitter, on the other hand, people laughed out loud at a nasty moment with Banchero.
