Data editing of available public and private corporate information was used to develop a geological model of the Stoke property. The compilation shows that the geology of the property consists of a major stratified sequence consisting of a volcanic-sedimentary sequence of bimodal volcanic units covered by a sedimentary package. The exhalation unit identified in some historic drill holes has been used as a marker associated with the project’s base metal mineralization. The overall geological package is folded to form two subvertical antiform and synform structures with axial planes tangent to the NE. Finally, the fault is mainly composed of steep to moderately inclined thrust faults that collide with NE and incline to SE (Fig. 2).

Mira and Fancamp have created 3D models that show potential variations in the thickness of various stratified units. One of the breakthroughs in 3D modeling interpretation was the development of paleoreconstruction of stratified units. This approach led to the discovery of a series of potential co-volcanic faults and / or rift-shaped depressions on the paleosurface defined by the expiratory layer located at the contact between mafic and felsic. These depressions are often the focus of metal deposition, and volcanic growth faults are often the primary control over the flow of hydrothermal fluids containing metal.
