Boebert narrowly lost the seat to Democrat Adam Frisch by fewer than 62 votes as of Wednesday night. But her feisty, cigarette-chewing former baseball player, once called “Nails,” seems to offer her a shoulder to cry on.
Dykstra reached out to Boebert in a direct message (DM) via Twitter, despite battling Democratic opponents. He made a generous offer and told the charming Republican that he was sorry to hear about his loss in the midterm elections.

However, due to the close proximity of the race, no official winner has been announced. Lothario Lenny will definitely be there regardless of the outcome.
Dykstra tweeted: DM me please “

Another Wag added, “Proof that you can swing and miss even after you’ve retired from baseball.”

Despite the obscenity, Dykstra, who was shocked in prison for fraud, told The Daily Dot that he “loves” the reaction his now somewhat infamous tweet has received.
he said: Unfortunately, who do you think has had no response so far? Hint: She’s from Colorado. :(“
