In fact, the pop star is the most decorated artist with a total of 34 wins, including six Artist of the Year trophies and a Dick Clark Award for Excellence. She is also the first and currently the only woman to win her AMA for Artist of the Decade.

There are now six nominees for this year’s ceremony on November 20th, and Taylor is looking to add to her already impressive collection.

But as the singer pointed out at the 2009 AMAs, “music was ultimately not a competition.”
