Ewan McGregor isn’t sure what to do with his new “Obi-Wan Kenobi” action figure

Ewan McGregor is not a big fan of his new “Obi-Wan Kenobi” action figure.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Said McGregor, who is replaying the title role with Canadian star Hayden Christensen, who will return as Darth Vader in the next series. Guest host Mike Bar Viglia on Wednesday.

With the figure, McGregor joked.

“They scan you. As you know, they have these machines that read your body and record all the data points of your existence. Still, that’s somehow. It doesn’t look like me. “

The actor laughed. “In the first episode of Episode I, it looks like Richard Chamberlain. I was dead like Richard Chamberlain.

“I was like,’Maybe they had his old scan that I used for me.'”

McGregor’s interview takes place when Disney + celebrates Star Wars Day with the announcement of a new “Obi-Wan Kenobi” trailer.

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” will be premiered on Friday, May 27th at Disney + Limited, and will include the first two episodes. Following the premiere, the series will be streamed every Wednesday until the finale on Wednesday, June 22nd.
