What is your least favorite pandemic purchase right now?

In the depths of quarantine in 2020, there was a moment when I was convinced that I was really into drawing. Two years later, I can’t just throw away the little-used paintbrushes and canvases tucked away in the back of my closet. We have all tried different coping mechanisms during the pandemic. A purchase we now regret.

So of course I needed new skates in a different color and style. And, to brush off the dust that continues to accumulate on her roommate’s exercise bike, she feels comfortable citing her experience with the remorse of her purchaser.

I have a question for you Lifehacker readers. What purchases did you make during the pandemic that you now deeply regret? Maybe you have a home kombucha starter kit haunting your pantry. You may be reading this from a home that felt like, but in retrospect I was wrong. And who among us didn’t try to grow our own herb garden? All I can say is that I have a ton of mason jars and I don’t know what to do with them now.
