Eaton Center in Toronto evacuated after multiple vehicle fire in parking lot – Toronto

Firefighters evacuated Toronto’s Eaton Center after a parking lot caught fire on Tuesday night.

Toronto firefighters told Global News they responded to reports of a fire that broke out in the third-floor parking lot of the Eaton Center around 7:25 p.m.

Authorities said the blaze had been extinguished, but large amounts of smoke were rising from the blazes in several vehicles.

Paramedics from Toronto were dispatched to the scene as a precautionary measure, but no injuries were reported.

Queen Street was closed from Yonge Street to Bay Street while emergency services responded.
