Drake, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd are Canada’s most streamed Spotify artists in 2022

Spotify has released its annual list of most streamed content. When it comes to Canadian listening habits, Drake has one name for him.

Rounding out the top five are Taylor Swift at No. 2, The Weeknd at No. 3, Kanye West at No. 4 and Eminem at No. 5.

According to Spotify, the streaming service’s annual end-of-year campaign features the artists, albums, songs, and songs that defined how more than 456 million people around the world listen to and discover music and podcasts in 2022. Playlists, podcasts revealed.

Here in Canada, Drake tops the list, but that’s not the case globally. On Spotify’s global list, the Toronto rapper comes in at number three, followed by Bad He’s Bunny at number one and Taylor He’s Swift at number two.
