Back in October, Auriel Marie, the Atlanta-based poet made a dreamy phone call to Lizzo on TikTok and asked if she could borrow her iconic 2022 Emmy dress. The writer has been honored by Out100 as one of her LGBTQ+ Literary and Publishing Stars of the Year, and she needed something special to wear to the gala.
