Dapper Labs and Spanish Football League Laliga Launch Memorable Moments NFT Platform Laliga Golazos – Blockchain Bitcoin News

Laliga, Spain’s premier football league organization, has announced the launch date of Laliga Golazos, an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) platform for Memorable Moments. Built in partnership with Dapper Labs, the platform will allow users to purchase his NFTs with his most memorable goal videos from 2005 to date.

Laliga, Spain’s premier football league, is entering the world of digital collections. The company recently announced the launch of its own NFT platform, Laliga Golazos. Launched in partnership with NBA Top Shots developer Dapper Labs, the service aims to connect fans with the most iconic moments of Spanish football.

Laliga Golazos aims to deliver videos of the league’s most spectacular moments and games from 2005 to the present. The name Golazos comes from the Spanish word for goal, ‘gol’, referring to the greatest scoring moment in league history. These NFTs allow users to view select games from different angles while listening to official commentary narration.

According to the press release, the moments included “great dribbling and skill, exceptional assists, incredible saves, great defensive action and a goal celebrated by millions of fans around the world.” Each moment has a rarity, with rarer moments being issued less and on the Flow blockchain, which is said to be optimized for this kind of application.

Commenting on the new platform, Jorge Urrutia del Pozo, General Manager of Laliga Golazos at Dapper Labs, said:

Laliga Golazos will allow fans to own a piece of Laliga history and participate in a whole new kind of football community that recognizes and rewards fandom.

The platform is currently in a closed beta stage and is expected to launch its first NFT drop on October 27th.

Laliga’s digital approach

This is the latest in a series of product launches and partnerships currently being developed by Laliga to increase the target audience for its business and spark the interest of a new generation within the league.

Earlier this month, the company also announced a partnership with Argentinian software company Globant to build digital products in the Web3 and Metaverse space. The company has also licensed his IP (intellectual property) to include in his Decentraland and offers several experiences on part of the Ethereum-based Metaverse platform.
