Danny Boyle’s Sex Pistols Series “Pistol” Reveals New Trailer and Release Date

The revolution has arrived at the full trailer of Danny Boyles’ Sex Pistols exclusive series “Pistols”.

Oscar-winning director of “Slamdog $ Millionaire” will direct the series based on Steve Jones’ memoirs Lonely Boy: A story from the Sex Pistols. Created and created by Craig Pearce, the six-episode series, according to the show’s official log line, “through a three-year kaleidoscopic story of the most spectacular and chaotic mucus in the history of music.” Attract the audience. The Pistols, premiered at Disney + in Canada on May 31, will feature Anson Boon as John Lydon (also known as Johnny Lotten), Toby Wallace as Jones, Louis Partridge as Sid Vicious, and drummer Paul Cook. Glen Matlock starring Jacob Slater as Cook and Christian Lees as the bassist of the original Sex Pistols. Other cast members to conclude the famous face of the era include Sydney Chandler as Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders, Talulah Riley as fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, and Mage Williams as Jordan of Punk Icon. “Pistol” features the band’s original music, despite the efforts of real-life Redon to prevent the production of the series. Frustrated by not being hired as a “consultant,” Redon tried to prevent the use of Sex Pistols music. He was then sued by Jones and Cook, and Matrock and Sid Vicious’s property agreed to license the music. The judge ruled that the existing 1998 Sex Pistols Band Membership Agreement (BMA) allowed a “majority vote” and that Redon was unlucky.

The “Pistol” will arrive at Disney + in Canada on May 31st.
