Montreal, March 17, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Cuneus Data Lab (“Cuneus”) today adds Refinitiv data to LSEG’s Refinitiv and Cuneus’ Layer 1 TDU blockchain network, introduced in November 2021. Announced a contract to start.
Cuneus dApps standardizes Refinitiv data on the TDU network into an SDL (Super Data Ledger) consisting of a TDU (Tradable Data Unit) and an SDU (Structural Data Unit) for analytical financial data. Analytical data units added to SDL are encrypted, hashed, strictly ordered, and immutable according to a rules-based system.
The TDU blockchain utilizes a native cryptocurrency that acts as a utility stablecoin for the network. Work tokens for data providers to build and tokenize SDL, and use tokens for data consumers to interact with SDL.
SDL connects to two scalable layers on the TDU network. One is for indexing and commoditizing data units, and the other is for tokenizing SDL as a standalone digital asset.
