Salt-N-Pepa Reunite Earns Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Oh baby, baby Salton Pepa Got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

hip hop group consisting of Cheryl “Salt” James, Sandra “Pepa” Denton When Daedra “DJ Spinderella” Roper–reunion The plaque was unveiled at a historic sidewalk landmark in Los Angeles on November 4th.

While earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Spinderella touched on the “up and downs” the trio have had together since forming Salt and Pepa in the ’80s.

“I have to appreciate those lessons because for me it wasn’t just music,” she said, adding, “It’s our relationship and it means everything to me.

Likewise, both Salt and Pepa are grateful for this honor as they reflect on their decades-long careers. “Keep the faith,” Salt said to the crowd. “Your setback is the setup for your comeback.”

Pepa, on the other hand, said she “never thought of” being a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “It was dedication. It was hard work,” she said. “I was in the studio for hours, days, nights, weeks.”
