all christmas bazaar The Okanagan Human Society fundraiser will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9-4 pm at 2907 17th St. (back alley entrance). Handmade wreaths, Christmas trees and ornaments, Christmas dishes and linens, indoor and outdoor decorations, musical globes, angels, Santa, rocking horse and toy train, nativity scenes and villages, collectible dolls, jewelry, gift tables and retro / Antique clock lamps, pet supplies, etc. All proceeds are used to care for abandoned and neglected cats and kittens.

first aid for substance use A free Vernon Library program offered by Interior Health on how to support those struggling with substance use. Informative and educational presentations focusing on different categories of substances including their effects, risks and how to support those affected. It also includes an overview of available harm reduction services such as medication, counseling, and opioid overdose recovery. The drop-in program takes place on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm.

cribbage Held every Wednesday from 1-3:30 pm at Vernon Lawn Bowling at Polson Park. Cost is $2, coffee and cookies $2, 19 or 5 cents if skunk. Everyone is welcome!
