All classes, practices and scheduled events are canceled for the remainder of the day

Students at Oak Bay High School ended early with all scheduled practices and events canceled after Wednesday’s (November 30) threat.

On the advice of the Oak Bay Police Department, the students and staff were released early as police investigated a threatening letter written on the bathroom door.

The Greater Victoria School District (SD62) closed schools and notified parents to check their instructions via email after sending their children home at 1 p.m.

All classes, practices, and scheduled events have been canceled for the remainder of the day. SD61 said schools are expected to resume as normal on Thursday.
