CP Holiday Train Returns to Rails After 3 Years
For the first time since 2019, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will make its annual trip across Canada and the United States, delivering live music to lift the holiday spirit.
Over the next four weeks, trains decorated with hundreds of thousands of LED lights will depart to raise funds and food donations for local food banks.
The Holiday Train’s first stop in Canada will be Lac Megantic in Que. It ends Thursday, December 18th in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.
CP CEO Keith Creel said the holiday train, now in its 24th year, is a reminder to help those in need this holiday season.
The event is free, but participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food and cash donations.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the holiday trains were virtually operational in 2020 and 2021.
