“All of us moms who know this pain are praying very hard for your family,” she writes. “We are all gathered around you and here for you. The light will come from the darkness. He is working. Blessing others in your deepest wounds. Bless you to do. Send all our love. “
Smith also shared the response she received. Why do you become such an irresponsible parent? !! ?? Teach your baby to swim, surround the pool and protect your child! This is your fault, you killed your victory [sic] child. I really hate it. “
Smith commented on the message and shared a passage in the Bible. “James 3: 6 The tongue is also fire, and there is a world of evil in each part of the body. It corrupts the whole man, ignites the whole process of his life, and ignites hell in itself. But no one can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. “
Then she weighed in her own words. “I can’t blame these people,” she wrote. “We live in a fallen world. It took me three years to keep these comments from hurting me, but I forgive them. I’m rooted in Jesus.”
