Clearwater woman identified as victim of motorcycle crash in North Okanagan

The incident occurred on Friday, September 30th at 5:15 pm on Highway 97A.woman thrown from bicycle

A 35-year-old woman from Clearwater has been identified as the victim of a one-vehicle crash near Grindrod on Friday, September 30.

A woman was riding a motorcycle traveling with a group when she unexpectedly lost control and was thrown from her bike at Block 7100 of Route 97A.

The woman was pronounced dead despite rescue efforts by those at the scene.

The incident happened around 5:15pm.
