City of Winnipeg to start spraying mosquitoes this weekend – Winnipeg

The city of Winnipeg’s Mosquito Control Update shows the number of traps has reached a record high.

Fog forms in areas of the city on Sunday night as part of a nuisance mosquito control effort.

  • Kilcona Park, River East, Springfield North, Valhalla
  • Kildonan Drive, Rossmere A
  • Eaglemere, Grassie, McLeod Industrial, North Transcona Yards, Springfield South, Valley Gardens
  • Munro West, Rossmere B
  • Chalmers, Glenelm
  • East Elmwood, Kildonan Crossing, Munro East, Talbot Grey, Tyne Tees
  • Griffin, Meadows, Peggis, Radisson, Regent, Victoria West
  • Cantebury Park, Kern Park, Kildare Redonda, Transcona North
  • Dugald, Melrose, Mission Gardens, Transcona South, Transcona Yards, St. Boniface Industrial Park
  • Inkster – Faraday, Luxton, St. John’s, St. John’s Park
  • Garden City, Layla-McPhillips Triangle, Margaret Park, Templeton-Sinclair

People can put themselves on the 90-meter buffer zone list if they don’t want their property to be clouded.
