What’s coming to Paramount Plus in August 2022

When I was 11, I couldn’t imagine a TV show as devastating as Beavis and Butthead. It looked like a cartoon, but for kids, but mostly focused on what was off limits in my home. Swearing, watching music videos, hitting my brother’s head with a baseball bat, burning things, and more. .. (fire! fire! Heh heh heh. So, nearly 30 years later, the show is back and the only word I can think of to explain it is … I’m not sure how it feels quaint.

Today, the Internet has kept all of humanity’s fall away from mere Google. Seeing two stupid kids get into stupid trouble seems like what I need to distract myself … everything. Moreover, those children are less than a day old. The change in the 2022 reboot, which premiered on August 4, is that the duo will make fun of TikTok videos instead of music videos. This makes sense both for licensing reasons and because the show is no longer broadcast on MTV. Anyway, I won’t play the music video anymore.

If you want more Beavis and ButtheadMore episodes of the original series will also arrive at Streamer on August 3rd.

There are other goodies of taps for animation fans. South park 25th Anniversary (No, that’s not right, I’m not that old) concert special arriving on August 14th.And the long-awaited third season Star Trek: Lower Deck (August 25th), secretly the current second best show Trek Renaissance (later) Strange new world, of course).

Paramount + has also dropped some of the original movies, including: Orphan: First kill (August 19th), 2009 sequel OrphanA horror movie with one of my favorite ridiculous twist endings.
