Chris Hemsworth is barely recognizable on the set of ‘Mad Max’ prequel ‘Furiosa’

To Brent Furdick.

Chris Hemsworth is working on his next project, the Mad Max prequel Mad Max: Furiosa, and was spotted on set.

In a photo taken from the set in Sydney, Australia on Thursday, Hemsworth is seen alongside co-star Tom Burke in a giant truck entering the gates of “Citadel.”

Hemsworth is virtually unrecognizable in his role, his mysterious character boasting long, unkempt hair and a bushy gray beard.

According to a note from the cameraman, Burke appears to be driving a truck, but is actually driven by a stunt driver hidden in a small capsule inside the radiator grille.

In the scene, Hemsworth reportedly stood on top of a truck and waved to the troops gathered below.
