Chicago Blackhawks hires Luke Richardson as new head coach

Luke Richardson finally has the chance to become the head coach of the NHL after the Chicago Blackhawks announced that he had hired him on Monday.

Richardson, 53, joined the Montreal Canadiens as an assistant coach in 2018. The natives of Ottawa worked under three head coaches: Claude Julien, Dominique Dusham and Martin St. Louis.
Richardson, famous for head coaching the last four games of the 2021 Conference Finals after a positive COVID-19 test, made the Canadians the Vegas Golden Knights win the series. He continued to play the first two games of the Stanley Cup Finals before Ducalm returned.
Former NHL Defense was an assistant coach for the Ottawa Senators and the New York Islanders and head coach for the AHL Binghamton Senators.
