Chace Crawford plays one of the distorted superheroes in Prime Video’s hit “The Boys.” This will be back in the third season of this week.
“The Boys” is clearly a parody of movies from superhero groups such as “Avengers” and “Justice League,” but not everyone seems to be joking.
Talk to GQCrawford revealed that his character (Aquaman’s takeoff named The Deep) elicited the wrath of former superhero fans.

“Occasionally on Instagram, I get’F ** k you, fishguy. Do you find it interesting to make fun of Aquaman?” Crawford recalled.
Crawford not only takes such criticism at once, but actually encourages it.
“I’m perfect,” he said. “That’s exactly what I want.”
The third season of “The Boys” will premiere on Friday, June 3rd.
