Canadian workers are not to blame for inflation

Earlier this month, Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem made headlines by saying inflation was due to what he called an “overheated” labor market. Stanford says it’s unfair. Canadian workers can easily find jobs, and the slightly higher wages they receive are not the cause of inflation – and therefore should not be penalized.
