Vancouver police are searching for a man believed to have attacked a 74-year-old woman in Strathcona on Friday afternoon.
Police Spokesperson Sgt. According to Steve Addison, the woman was walking down Heatley Avenue near Union and Prior Streets when she was pushed to the ground and threatened with her wife.

Her attack demanded money but fled when the woman started screaming – alerting passersby.
The suspect, believed to be in his teens or early twenties, was of medium build and was wearing a gray hoodie.
Witnesses, or anyone with dash cam video who was in the area around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, are asked to call the Vancouver Police Department at 604-717-4022.
