Investigators believe the same suspect was involved in two Calgary shootings.
CALGARY – Calgary police say the suspect in the deadly shooting is also wanted in another shooting that took place the day before.
Officers were called to the Falconridge neighborhood in the city’s northeast to report the shooting early Saturday morning, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Investigators also believe a suspect was involved in an early morning shooting in the neighboring Castle Ridge neighborhood on Friday, with police putting the victim they faced at his home in critical condition.
Police warn the suspect is in his late 20s and early 30s, is armed and is considered dangerous.
He is fair-skinned, about 5-foot-10 and slim, and wears a blue hoodie, a blue bandana, a black baseball cap, and a black backpack.
According to police, the last time he walked was from 0 to 100 blocks of Falconridge Place North East.
