Canadian Business Journal, 11.47 g / t gold over 2.73 meters in Naimans shear band

Toronto, March 16, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Red Pine Exploration Inc. (TSXV: RPX, OTCQB: RDEXF) (“Red Pine” or “Company”) will be “Green Field” in Darwin in 2021 and 2022. Exploration has begun-The Gracemine area reveals a multidimensional network of mineralized shear zones, each of which may host a zone of gold mining.

Currently, the three major structures in the area can be identified as follows:

  • Grace Sheer Zone,
  • Naiman shear band,
  • And although it was newly discovered, it has not yet been named the shear band.

Visual indicators of gold mineralization of pyrite, arsenopyrite, or quartz veins containing visible gold have been observed at multiple intersections of the three shear bands and the Nyman shear band (Figure 2). The 11.47 g / t gold intersection over 2.73 meters in the Naimans shear band of DG-22-317 correlates with positive visual indicators and gold mineralization (other intersections / holes pending). We support this.

The discovery of gold mineralization 65 meters below the surface of the Naimans Shear Zone opened a major exploration target for the structure between the surface and the lower floors of the former Darwin Grace mine (Figure 1). The intersection of DG-22-317 is located at the end of the excavation in the Naimans shear zone area, supporting the hypothesis that gold mined in the lower layers of the former Darwin Grace mine can spread close to the surface.

“The Darwin Grace region has been the subject of our interest since the six holes were drilled in 2017. All holes are DG-17-56 holes, up to 57 g / over 2.34 meters. Intersects t shallow gold mining operations. To follow up on these successes, we have allocated a budget for part of this year’s Phase 1 exploration program. The Darwin Grace region hosts high-grade gold mining operations. The potential for this is well known, with historic operations in 1934 averaging 11 g / t (40 tonnes / day) and one vein averaging 571 ounces / ton from the 900-foot mark. “ – Quentin Yarie, President and CEO of RedPine Exploration.

The 11.47 g / t gold intersection over 2.73 meters at DG-22-317 in the Nyman Shear Zone (more than 3.5 km south of the Surluga deposit) is associated with two sets of quartz vein intersections. , Minor chalcopyrite and spotted visible gold (Fig. 2). The set of intersecting quartz veins supports the multidimensionality of mineralization in the Darwin-Grace region. In addition, the intersections between the set of veins form exploration targets that are likely to enhance mineralization.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control (“QA / QC”) Measures

Drill core samples were shipped in security-sealed bags for analysis at Actlabs, Ancaster, Ontario. Individual samples were labeled, placed in a plastic sample bag and sealed. The group of samples was then shipped in a durable rice bag. The remaining coarse rejected portion of the sample remains preserved if further work or validation is required.

Red Pine has implemented a quality control program to comply with drill core sampling and analysis best practices. As part of the QA / QC program, Red Pine inserts an external gold standard (low to high grade) in addition to random standards, blanks, and duplicates and blanks every 20 samples.
