Canada’s Pendris, Connors lose to Homa, USA’s Horschel in Presidents Cup

USA’s Max Houma made an 11-foot birdie putt on the 18th to give him and Billy Horschel a one-up victory over Canada’s Taylor Pendris and Corey Connors (who represented the international team). Friday in Charlotte.

The USA is dominating 8-2 after two days of the four-day event.

It was the first time in the history of the event that two Canadians played on the same team.

Pendris, from Richmond Hill, Ontario, and Connors, from Listowel, Ontario, never took command.

Houma was the hero who birdied the last two holes to give America the win.
