Caitlyn Jenner defends transgolfer’s quest to get LPGA Tour card, saying professional female golfers ‘could beat 99.9 percent of men’

Caitlyn Jenner is providing assistance to a transgolfer named Haley Davidson who wants to start a women’s professional golf association. [LPGA] trip.

On Wednesday, Jenner, who was highly critical of Thomas’ quest to compete in the women’s pool, joined Fox News to support Davidson’s pursuit of becoming the first transgender woman on the tour. He said that Song’s situation was different from Thomas’s.

“Every sport is different,” said Jenner. “Golf is a completely different game [than swimming]It’s a touch and feel game. ”

“It’s about your ability around the green,” she continued, arguing that physical strength and the ability to hit the ball far make little difference in golf.

“I don’t think she’s in a position to dominate the LPGA Tour,” added the retired Olympic gold medalist.

Over a decade ago, the LPGA Tour changed its rules to allow golfers who were not born female to compete. Jenner backed the sports association’s rules, saying they should be upheld because professional female golfers continue to regularly beat her and other men on the course.

“Those girls are pretty nice, to be honest,” Jenner said. “The top girls on the tour can probably beat her 99.9% of the guys. They’re so good.
