Boston media explodes after the Red Sox blows it off without a hook near unvaccinated

The Boston media is always known to be tough on the team.
But when something like Tuesday night happens, it reaches another level.
Tanner Houck, near the Boston Red Sox, hasn’t been vaccinated, so he had to be on the restricted list before this week’s series against the Blue Jays in Toronto.
And you wouldn’t know that, his absence was looming on Tuesday when the Blue Jays scored two runs at the bottom of the ninth for a 6-5 victory over the Red Sox.
Long time Boston Globe Columnist Dan Shaughnessy and other members of the Boston media immediately posted their feelings on Twitter.
The Red Sox asked Tyler Danish, who pitched 8th, to return to 9th, without hooks.
However, the Danes accepted the first two runners and urged Red Sox manager Alex Cora to replace Hansel Robles.
The latter pitcher was no more successful, giving up the RBI single to Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
When asked if the situation made him more frustrated about the vaccination situation, Cola said no.
“We go with the 26 people here, and we try to get 27 outs, and we didn’t do that,” Cola said.
The Blue Jays will score five out of six wins against the Red Sox in Toronto this season and head to Wednesday’s Series Finale, where Toronto will appoint Ace Alexandra.
And maybe the same two teams will play at the same venue in October.
