SURRY, British Columbia, Oct. 18, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Bolo Program, which updated its list of the top 25 most wanted fugitives in Canada, announced bounties of up to $250,000 on Tuesday. did.
The bounty was announced for information leading to the arrest of Rabih Alkhalil, who is wanted for illegally fleeing after fleeing the North Fraser Pretrial Center in British Columbia last July. He was on trial for the 2012 murder of a restaurant in downtown Vancouver when he fled. He was subsequently convicted of first-degree murder in that case. Alkhalil was already serving a sentence for orchestrating another brazen murder in Ontario and being involved in a major drug trafficking operation in Quebec.
Other suspects on the updated Top 25 list are tied for rewards of up to $100,000 and $50,000.
Boro Program Director Max Langlois revealed the first update to the Top 25 list along with BC RCMP Deputy Commissioner Dwayne MacDonald.
