Construction worker dies after falling 15 feet off roof
The man was reportedly employed by Kalk Hall
A construction worker died Friday morning after falling 15 feet from a roof in Toronto.
The incident occurred on the western edge of the city around Kipling Avenue and Rathburn Road shortly before 11am. The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The Department of Labor was called to investigate and sent a statement to Occupational Safety Canada confirming that the worker died from his injuries.

“I am saddened to hear about this incident,” reads the statement. “Our thoughts are with the families, friends and colleagues of the deceased workers.”
The man reportedly worked at Caruk Hall.
Canadian Occupational Safety has reached out to the company for comment.
