The Billboard Music Awards are back and many winners have already been announced prior to tonight’s Musical Awards Ceremony.
The 2022 BBMA honors the top performing artists of the year on the Billboard charts in 62 categories of all music genres, based on the chart period from April 10, 2021 to March 26, 2022.

54 awards were distributed during a special TikTok live stream hosted by Tetris Kelly and Tiffany Taylor. Six of them were presented to Olivia Rodrigo, including top new artists. Reigning as the most BBMA Award-winning artist in history, Drake has won five awards at non-television events and BTS has been named to the Top Duo / Group for the third time.
The remaining winners will be announced at NBC’s 8 pm Eastern Time from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at a live broadcast ceremony on Sunday hosted by Sean Combs and will be livestreamed on Peacock.
