‘Best ride’: Canadian proud of World Cup effort despite elimination

What a ride it was.

From an incredible qualifying run, to a phenomenal effort against world number two Belgium, to their first goal in the Men’s World Cup, there was a lot to cheer for during their trip to Canada.

And Sunday’s 4-1 loss to Croatia eliminated the Canadians from knockout stage contention, but that didn’t stop fans from expressing their support for the team.
