Police say McGann was on an authorised outing on Wednesday, Aug. 2, when he didn’t return to the Southern Alberta Forensic Psychiatry Centre.
In 2016, McGann was discovered not criminally accountable resulting from a psychological dysfunction on three counts of tried homicide associated to the stabbings of three folks at a Taber-area house in October 2015.
Investigators consider McGann could also be travelling in British Columbia or Ontario in a light-green 2005 Hyundai Elantra, with the Alberta licence plate CFP0443.
He’s described as 5’11” tall, 157 kilos, with a slim construct, blond hair and blue eyes.
Anybody who sees McGann or is aware of of his whereabouts is requested to contact police.
