BC Homicide Squad says deadly Surrey Park shooting was a targeted attack

Surrey, British Columbia – A shooting at a sports stadium in Surrey, British Columbia killed two men and left another in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said in a statement that the shooting last Saturday at South Surrey Athletic Park occurred in a parking lot.

Police said the dead included 26-year-old Harbir Khosa and 20-year-old Robeen Soreni.

19-year-old Jordan Krishna is in the hospital with serious injuries.

According to the homicide team, Xhosa and Krishna are known to the police, and all three are from Surrey.

Investigators said one suspect, wearing a black hooded sweater, beige pants and a dark baseball cap, fled on foot and a black BMW X5 car was linked to the three victims. I’m here.

“We have set a timeline for the black BMW X5 to arrive at the park at around 2:27 pm and the shooting to take place shortly thereafter,” Sgt. David Lee said Friday. “The shooter then fled the park on foot westward.”
