Public warned after ‘inappropriate’ behavior against women at park in Burnaby, British Columbia – BC

Police are warning the public over a spate of “inappropriate” gestures and comments made to women in or around a park in Burnaby, British Columbia, this fall.

The Mounties have released sketches of suspects in the Oct. 13 incident. In the incident, a man allegedly approached three of his women at Deer Lake Park, uttering comments and making hand gestures.

No physical contact was made and the woman left without incident, but police are investigating whether the incident is related to four others involving a man with a similar description.

“The Burnaby RCMP is investigating this matter and has identified persons of interest in this incident,” Cpl. Mike Karangi said in a news release Wednesday.
