Avalanche advances Brakovsky towards Game 6 and Nichushkin remains in the lineup

Colorado Avalanche will welcome forward Valerini Chushkin to the Stanley Cup Finals Game 6 lineup, but Andre Burakovsky will miss it.
Nichushkin participated in pre-match skating and lined up with Nazem Kadri and Gabriel Landeskog as usual.

Nichushkin couldn’t fully participate in the morning skates because he easily skated with T-shirts, shorts and skates instead of being fully equipped to test for lower body injuries. After Game 5, a 27-year-old kid was seen in a cart with his right foot wrapped in an ice bag. He was also hovering around the rink before handling the puck and flying around on the ice to take a few shots.
Nichushkin scored 4 goals and 6 points in the series, 9 goals and 16 points in 19 games, including goals and assists in Game 5, and remained around the Corn Smyth Trophy debate. He is also one of the most important penalty killer and responsible two-way players on the Avalanche roster.
Brakovsky missed the last three games after being hit by a shot from defensive Victor Hedman in Game 2 last Saturday. A 27-year-old from Malmö, Sweden, has 3 goals and 5 assists in 12 postseason games, including 2 goals and assists in the first couple game of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Colorado holds the lead in the 3-2 Series and aims to win the first Stanley Cup since 2001. Double defending champion Tampa Bay aims to extend the dream of 3 Pete when Game 6 ends at 8 pm (Eastern Time) / 5 pm (PT) on Sunday. At Sportsnet and Sportsnet NOW.
