Pedestrians collide twice in fatal crash in Edmonton
A 77-year-old man has died after he said he was beaten twice while crossing a street in the city’s Summerlee neighborhood, Edmonton police said.
Police said the man was hit by two separate vehicles while crossing the northbound lane of 170th Street and then the southbound lane of 170th Street just after 7 p.m. I was.
He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.
Speed and obstacles were not considered factors in the crash, police said.
The Serious Collision Investigation Division took over the case.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has dashcam video of the accident to contact them.
