Two killed, one injured in shooting in Coquitlam. IHIT deployed

Two people were killed and one wounded after the shooting in Coquitlam on Wednesday night (23 November).

Police said reports of shootings drew investigators to the area of ​​Dawes Hill Road and Mundy Street where multiple shell casings were found, as well as two unresponsive victims suffering from gunshot wounds in their vehicles.

One of the victims died and the other died of his injuries after being taken to hospital.

A third were taken to hospital, with what police called non-life-threatening injuries.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is working with the Coquitlam RCMP to determine the cause.

It’s unclear how many suspects are believed to be involved.

The latest fatal shooting comes a day after a car dealership robbery in Coquitlam caused chaos on a major route across multiple locations in the Lower Mainland and an unrelated fatal stabbing incident at a Surrey secondary school. Did.
