Astros throws a combined no-hitter no-run to beat the Yankees

The Houston Astros defeated the New York Yankees 3-0 on Saturday afternoon with a no-hitter no-run.
Starter Christian Havia continued 7 innings, Hector Neris pitched for the relief of 8 innings, and Ryan Pressly closed it at Yankee Stadium.
Javier threw the best 13 strikeouts of his career. He walked to Josh Donaldson in one go. Josh Donaldson reached the base with an error in the seventh inning when third baseman Alex Bregman made his first pass following first baseman.
The Astros (45-26) and Yankees (52-20) conclude the four-game series on Sunday afternoon.
It’s already the third no-hitter no-run of the season. Five New York Mets pitchers joined the Philadelphia Phillies on April 29, and the Los Angeles Angels Reed Detomers achieved a solo feat against the Tampa Bay Rays on May 10.
Houston’s previous no-hitter no-run was performed by Justin Verlander against the Toronto Blue Jays on September 1, 2019.
