One of Armie Hammer’s sexual assault accusers has disputed a recent interview with his ex-wife.
A woman known as Effie sparked controversy in March 2021 when she filed a rape allegation against Hammer. The LAPD launched an investigation after multiple women revealed allegations of abuse and sexual assault by the actor.
The move comes after wife Elizabeth Chambers filed for divorce in 2020.
Effie is now calling Chambers about comments she made about her ex-husband in a new interview E! News.
Speaking about the status of her relationship with Hammer, the TV personality said they were in a “good place.”

“Our divorce is not finalized. But we are in a really great place. We talk all the time,” she explained. “We are all for our kids and we are all for them to be together in the least romantic way possible. Kids need moms. Kids need dads.” is needed, so there is nothing that we do not do.”
Chambers said her ex was “dedicated to his treatment” and she was there to offer support.
“I’m here to support that process. It will make him the best father, the best person he can be. Ultimately, that’s the goal,” she continued. “We are in constant contact and what matters is that he is the best possible father to our children. Obviously he personally handles everything else he is dealing with. – And it’s his own journey now.”
The two exes share Harper, 7, and Ford, 4, together.
In a now-deleted Instagram story, Effie shared a screenshot of the text between herself and presumably Chambers, evoking a different attitude towards Hummer.

In response to another supposed message from Chambers asking her about her legal representation, Effie said, “I’m feeling a little suicidal and I’m sorry, but I don’t have this time.
In a direct reference to the interview, Effie concluded her series of stories with these words:
