Andreesque of Canada was banished from Wimbledon after falling to 17th seed Rybakina

Canada’s Bianca Andreesque has left Wimbledon after making a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) decision against Elena Rybakina in Kazakhstan on Thursday.

Rybakina fired four aces on two of Andreesque and converted at three of the four breakpoints.

Rybakina also scored 80% of the first serve points, and Andreesque scored 65%.

The 23-year-old Rybakina, who was seeded 17th in the women’s draw, will face China’s Chung Kin (19) in the third round of the tournament.

Andreesque, 22, passed the American Emina Bektas 6-1 and 6-3 in the opening round on Tuesday before advancing to the second round of the All England Tennis Club for the first time in his career.

On the men’s side, 17th seed Denis Shapovalov of Richmond Hill, Ontario, was scheduled to face American Brandon Nakashima on Thursday.
