Alamos Gold reports fatality at Young-Davidson mine, The Canadian Business Journal

TORONTO, November 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Alamos Gold Co., Ltd. (TSX: AGI; NYSE: AGI) (“Alamos” or the “Company”) is deeply saddened to announce the death of an employee this afternoon following an accident underground at the Young-Davidson mine.

“We are shocked and deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague. Nothing is more important than the safety of our employees. Please accept my sincere condolences.”

Alamos is working closely with local authorities and will conduct an internal investigation. All means of assistance are available to families and those affected by the accident.
