(“NFI”) today announced that it will build the first 10 electric double-deck buses. Kowloon Bus Company (1933) Limited (“KMB”), a major operator in Hong Kong. The Zero Emission Enviro 500EV is ADL’s first electric double-deck bus in the Asia Pacific region and continues a long tradition of innovation in the Hong Kong bus market.

Ten battery-powered Enviro 500EV 3-axis, fully air-conditioned double-decker buses will be delivered to KMB in 2023 with new and innovative features that continue to raise the bar for efficiency, safety and comfort. These are fully integrated in-house by ADL’s experienced engineering team. Each integrated Enviro 500EV can carry up to 130 passengers, ensuring that Hong Kong’s busy bus service capacity is maintained.

In partnership with Hong Kong’s largest franchise bus operator, KMB, ADL has been at the forefront of bus development in Hong Kong for more than half a century, bringing vehicle air conditioning and three-story low-floor access to the market. ..
