Abbotsford transforms into live music destination on Saturday

Abbotsford is set to become the live music capital of Canada, possibly North America, and possibly the entire planet on Saturday (November 26th).

Two massive concert events will take place at roughly the same time on Saturday, bringing tens of thousands of people to two different venues to experience two very different performances.

The first-ever One Love Music Festival featuring Marshmello, Sofi Tukker, Sunny James, Ryan Marciano and Diajo takes place on Tradex from 7pm to 1am.

Marshmello is one of the world’s most popular and well-known DJs, with four certified platinum singles in multiple countries including Canada and the United States. He has also won various awards at the MTV Europe, Electronic Music and iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Tickets for the One Love Music Festival are sold out.

On the other side of town from Abbotsford Center is The Offspring, which welcomed special guest Simple Plan.The show starts at 7:30 pm

The Offspring last appeared in Abbotsford on November 30, 2019 and have sold over 40 million albums throughout their long career.

The band formed in California in 1984 and rose to superstardom with the 1994 album Smash. This album is one of his best-selling independent albums of all time, with him selling over 11 million records worldwide.

Simple Plan is a Canadian pop-punk band formed in 1999 and has sold over 10 million albums worldwide. The group won a Juno Fan Choice Award in 2006, and in 2005 he won six Match Music Video Awards and a Teen Choice Award.
