King Charles III cherishes his late parents. On Friday, Buckingham Palace released a photo of the newly-minted monarch performing government duties, with his mother and father, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in the background.
This new photo, taken last week in an 18th-century room at Buckingham Palace, shows Prince Charles reviewing the King’s Red Box documents, which include documents from British and Realm government ministers, as well as representatives from the Commonwealth and beyond. It shows what you are reviewing.
Documents are sent from the Private Secretariat in a locked red shipping box, regardless of the King’s place of residence.
