79North Drilling extends recent discoveries in the Witlage Gold Zone to strike lengths of more than one kilometer. Canadian Business Journal

TORONTO, Oct. 24, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — 79North Inc. (CSE: JQ; OTCQB: SVNTF; FRA: 6120) (“79North” or the “Company”) is delighted with the results of 16 diamond drill holes report. A total of 1,477 meters were drilled at the Nassau Gold project in Suriname. Results of the first five of his drill holes (NP-22-01 through NP-22-05; drilling a total of 504 meters) were previously reported on June 27, 2022. 1 and 2). The best drilled intersection was hole NP-22-16 intersected with 0.57 grams of gold per ton over 13.50 meters.

President and CEO John North commented: Using the valuable information gleaned from this drilling campaign, we will continue to identify and test gold targets on site, track the results of these drills in this area, and track the progress of undrilled targets. We are planning to pursue the pipeline.

Analysis and QA/QC
Drill cores (nominal NTW diameter) were transported from the drill rig to the field camp by ATV and cut in half with a core saw equipped with a diamond blade. Half-core samples, typically 1.0–1.5 m in length, were placed in plastic sample bags with waterproof assay tags, and the bags were sealed with single-use cable ties. At a time, he put five core samples into rice bags and sealed them with disposable zip ties. Samples were safely stored under constant supervision until they were shipped to the Actlabs sample prep lab in Paramaribo by company vehicle or lab transport vehicle, maintaining a chain of custody from the company’s drill camp to the sample prep lab. rice field.

Drill core samples were analyzed by Actlabs Guyana Inc. Sample pretreatment was done by code RX1, 80% of the sample passed through a 2 mm screen and 95% of the milled 250 g aliquots passed through a 105 micron screen. A 50 g assay charge of pulp was assayed by 1A2-50, a fire assay for AA finishes. Samples that exceeded the limit (>3 ppm Au) were re-assayed by gravimetric finish fire assay. Samples with suspected visible gold were prepared by code RX-1000. Code RX-1000 grinds the whole sample and 1,000 g splits are sieved through a 100 micron screen. The total + fraction was analyzed by the gravimetric finish fire assay and the 50 charges of the minus fraction was analyzed by the AA finish fire assay. The weighted average of the two assays is reported as the sample gold concentration. A certified reference material of known gold concentration was inserted into every 25 samples, and at least one sterile quartz sand blank was inserted into every 100 samples to test for laboratory contamination.
