300 new technology jobs in Calgary-PlanetWeb.ca

Royal Bank, RBC, is adding 300 new technology jobs to Calgary by creating a new innovation hub.

The Calgary Innovation Hub is expected to be operational by September 2021, and the Calgary tech jobs they are trying to fill are already posted on the website.

Calgary’s new technology work for over 3 years

According to their website, RBC will adopt technology roles over the next three years in high-demand areas such as artificial intelligence, data engineering, full-stack agile software delivery, site reliability engineering, machine learning, and data analytics. It’s a schedule.

Jeff Boyd, RBC Regional President of Alberta and Territory, says he loves Calgary because of its excellent post-secondary education facilities and the rapid growth of Calgary’s high-tech hubs.

In a recent report by CBRE, Calgary jumped six spots to the 28th spot in the fast-growing IT market.

Calgary’s technical workforce has also added 18% of IT workers, now approaching 50,000, with an average salary of about $ 96,000.

The news comes from many other IT companies that have opened a big hub in Calgary and are hiring tech jobs.
